trauma release pic.jpg

Thursday, June 9 from 6:00-7:00 pm

Join Leah for a special Trauma Release class that combines the use of benign, non-triggering language and specific physical movements aimed at targeting the most common places the body "holds" trauma. We all have "issues in our tissues," and part of healing from trauma (physical and/or emotional) is releasing those issues, sometimes even if we're not really sure where they come from. Moving through some physical positions in a safe, nonjudgmental space, and finishing with a time of meditation in savasana, can do wonders for our healing and moving forward.

$10 or included with monthly pass/punch card

Everyone is welcome for this FREE event under the moon and stars Weather permitting, we will take this practice outside.

Five-Week Series

Mondays: Aug. 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29 from 6:00-7:30 pm

The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz is a seminal book for understanding our own stories and our interactions with others within a society at large, within communities, and within families.  Ruiz's book focuses on four "agreements" that we make with ourselves in order to interact in judgement-free, blame-free, positive, constructive ways.  For many people, this book is life-changing and liberating.

Rachel will lead a five-week book study series The Four Agreements in August with an introductory week and a weekly discussion on each of the four agreements.  Cost for this series will include a copy of the book, five week discussion, light snacks,  followed by a 30-minute yoga practice each of the five weeks.

Cost: $65, advanced registration is required.
