Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow works through flowing between traditional yogic postures by matching breath to movement throughout the practice. Vinyasa will help increase flexibility, stamina and balance while challenging the body and helps the body recover from day to day stresses. Vinyasa Flow is suitable for all fitness levels, and modifications will be explained to allow for decreasing or increasing levels of practice.

Chair Yoga

This gentle form of yoga is practiced sitting in a chair or using a chair for support during poses. Students can use the chair as needed or in every pose. Benefits of chair yoga are increased balance, strength, flexibility, range of motion, and stress reduction. Chair yoga is great for students who have trouble getting on the floor or getting up, with balance or coordination issues, injuries, or students who do not do any type of physical exercise. Class will meet each student where they are in their journey. Chair will be provided for each student.

Lunch Time Yoga

Put away that to-do list and squeeze in a little time for yourself! Whether you are on lunch break or just have a few minutes time to spare, join this shortened 40-minute Lunch Time Yoga class. We will focus on centering, breath control and gentle stretching and flow to get you energized and ready to finish your day. Suitable for all skill levels.

Active Flow

Active Flow is a little faster paced yoga practice that is a combination of sitting and standing poses that will increase flexibility, balance, and strength. We will work on our ability to transition seamlessly from sitting poses to standing poses. Active Flow encourages listening to your body and approaching more challenging poses with a sense of joy and inquiry. You will be encouraged to connect with your breath, observe your body's ability to move, and to use variations offered within class instruction in order to practice safely. This class is suitable for all fitness levels.

Yoga Flow

Yoga Flow is a mixed-level class that can benefit everyone from beginners to advanced. In this class, we will explore a variety of flowing sequences and held postures as we work on asanas (poses), breath, awareness and stretching. Yoga Flow helps strengthen and stretch the body, promotes balance and flexibility and aids promoting an inner calm. Class ends in a 10-15 minute savasana.

Open Flow

This class will focus on working through traditional postures by matching breath to movement throughout the whole practice. We will start with slow centering techniques, including stress release and intention-setting, in order to get the most out of the practice and carry the benefit throughout the rest of our day/week. The class is suitable for all fitness levels, and modifications will be explained to allow for decreasing or increasing levels of practice. You will leave feeling both relaxed and recharged!

Mindful Slow Flow

Mindful Slow Flow focuses on breath and alignment to allow student to access and feel each pose. Using specific sequencing (Similar to Forrest Yoga) to warm up, have core work, sun salutations, vinyasa flow, cool-down, and ending with savasana. Each pose will be mindfully explained, focusing on alignment to allow each student to explore each pose and what works for them. Students can expect to increase strength, flexibility, range of motion, posture, reduce stress, and learn to stay in the present moment. Beginner level class with options for the more advanced students.

Candlelight Flow

Join us to relax and unwind in the soft glow of candlelight for a one-hour gentle flow. Soft lighting helps engages the parasympathetic nervous system and activates the relaxation response. Candlelight Flow will guide you through a gentle sequence of breathing, stretching and asanas to help improve strength and flexibility while decreasing stress and “mind clutter".

Yin + Meditation

Yin + Meditation is the PERFECT way to wind down your week and prepare for your weekend! Yin yoga consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses held for up to five minutes that mainly work the lower part of the body. Meditation is simply stillness, and we will practice different kinds of meditation: silent, guided imagery, reflective, chakra, etc. From time to time, we may also practice some yoga nidra and restorative yoga in order to round out our practice.

Mindful Spirit Flow

Mindful SPIRIT Flow take slow flow to the next level. Utilizing the same principles learned in slow flow and taking them up a notch. We will hold pose longer, 10 or more breaths to enliven your SPIRIT. By holding poses longer, we will test our limits and learn to work through life’s curveballs on the mat!
Intermediate to Advance Level. Beginner yogis can attend, you just need to be physical fit and have some type of regular exercise routine. This is NOT suitable for someone just starting to workout!!

Stretch & Flow Flow

​Stretch & Flow is a gentle class taking on a slower pace. This class focuses mainly on floor-based stretching and asanas (postures) coupled with pranayama (breathing) that will help loosen the entire body and reduce tension and stress. At times, class may also explore gentle standing flow, meditation and aspects of yin and/or restorative yoga for relaxation and healing. Class always ends in a relaxing 10-minute savasana.
Stretch & Flow is suitable for all skill levels.

Themed Thursdays

Get ready for some movement, music, and fun in this mixed level class! We will take a different theme each week (such as 80s music, Disco Night, Disney etc.) and explore a well-balanced flow with stretching, bending and breathing. A range of options and modifications will be offered to make this class largely accessible. Enjoy a FUN, upbeat, playful and not-so-serious yoga class to help you feel good on the inside and out! Kids are welcome to attend with a participating adult. Kid drop ins are $5.

Restorative/Yoga Nidra

Restorative Yoga is a form of active rest in which the mind, body, and spirit are given the time and space to renew, recharge, and restore. It is a practice unlike traditional yoga classes in that it centers on slowing down, centering, and opening through passive stretching. We practice stillness and very gentle movement for extended periods of time throughout the practice, focusing on fully supported poses that are each held for 5-7 minutes. At the end of class, we will practice a short Yoga Nidra, a form of yogic sleep, in order to gain the most benefit from savasana and feel rested and refreshed to close out the weekend and prepare for the work week ahead

Monthly Full Moon Flow, free

Our monthly full moon flow is held on the evening of the full moon, dates and times will vary.  We will incorporate a full moon flow and a releasing ceremony. The full moon is about rebirth and transformation. It is a time to recognize your brilliance and your light and release anything no longer serving your higher good. This is a free monthly event.

Yoga on the Square, seasonal-free

One Soul Yoga and the City of Sulphur Springs brings you seasonal Yoga on the Square. Join us outdoors near the downtown Courthouse on Saturday mornings at 9 am for a free yoga community yoga practice. This runs March 20 through the end of October and is held weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, check One Soul's Facebook page for information. This will be held by One Soul instructors and other yoga instructors from the community. Bring a mat or towel to practice on.
